What is the clothes become darker when the water is poured on it? So, why things are wet darker? The water is clear.?
If you have potable water and has poured into his blue shirt. Then there would spill a little darker, and wetter. How is night when the water in a cup is that clear? I've always wondered. Thank you.
The water allows the tissue to absorb light of the strike. When light is absorbed striking, it appears darker. The best example I know is, and try to do the following: Take a paper towel. Once dry, it appears white because the light striking it reflects back you look white. Everything you say reflects light that achieves a high albedo. Now, if you pour water on paper towels, which have poured water appears darker than the rest the towel. This is because the water fills some spaces between the fibers of the towel that allows more light to be absorbed and therefore looks dark. This site is now low albedo because it reflects less light. If you take that same damp paper towel and hold it to the light comes on and now it seems the rest of the wet towel is dark! Well, for now see the light that is absorbed by the damp area.
