Heart Tarts

I have never played football before, and I am looking to start HS freshman… what position should I play?

So I am going to be a freshman next year, and unless you count Madden or some street ball with a bunch of pop tarts (which I plowed through, or just ran right past) I have never played football before. I bench about 140 (max) and I have never recorded short distance running time, but I know I have good speed and acceleration. My hands are probably bad, and I’ll be honest, I don’t like a lot of pressure. But my heart is in football. Does anybody have any suggestions about what position I should play? I have already gone though 1 out of 5 days of my school’s football camp without having a position to work on…

One thing is for sure…make it clear you’ll play special teams, fly downfield and throw your shoulder into someone. The coaches will find a place to put you.
