Lovebirds – I can burn tea light candles, unscented near my parakeets?
My parakeet cage is next to the kitchen table and I tea light burning (odorless) candles at night. It hurt my parakeets? Please educated answer, no guessing if possible. Ie. first-hand experience knowledge or the vet etc. appreciated. Thanks!
Make sure your wicks contain no zinc or lead. Despite the lead wicks are not approved for use in the United States imported about candles can pass through.
