Large White

I have a white large spider outside my front door and want to know if its venomous ?
We live in Edmonton ,Alberta and right now it is summer , and out side my front door in the corner of my eave’s trough there is a huge spider web and a quite large white spider , i do have a few pictures if that wil;l help !
You should totally post those photos. Also, what kind of web is it? Is it orb-shaped, or maybe a tangled-looking mess? Thanks for giving your location right away- that always helps!
Also, I think those of us that regularly answer spider question need to stop being so insistent about venom and poison. I’m not trying to be a jerk, honest! When someone asks “is this spider venomous/poisonous”, we know they’re asking if the spider is dangerous to them. Up to trying to answer this question, I was still typing “dangerously venomous” or “not dangerously venomous”, but that gets so tedious. So let’s band together and give the laymen the benefit of the doubt! Go Team Spider Knowledge!
